Award-winning director, screenwriter, and producer based in Los Angeles and New York.
Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ari has worked as an editor with HBO Max, Discovery+, and Food Network, and his short films have won awards at renowned festivals including the Austin Film Festival. He has also received screenwriting recognition from the Palm Springs International Film Festival and the Humanitas Awards. In his commercial work, he has produced for brands such as TikTok and NERF, and he has directed celebrities such as Nastya Radzinskaya from YouTube’s top kid’s show Like Nastya.
A recovering actor, Ari shifted from the Off-Broadway stage to filmmaking through his sketch comedy collective Means Of Productions – after dozens of sketches and short films, Ari now works as a freelance writer, filmmaker, and producer. He serves as a screener for the Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) and a reader for the HIFF Screenwriting Competition. Passionate about collaborative filmmaking, Ari eagerly seeks new and diverse collaborative voices as well as established creatives to craft thrilling, complex stories.
He recently graduated with his MFA in Film from Columbia University where he received Faculty Honors for screenwriting.
